The definition of a Digital Elder is a role model, who reconnects to the guidelines of the traditional African Elder, and then utilizes modern tools of communication to share wisdom, nurture, affirm.

Our goal is to introduce telecommunications and new media as a means of:
1) Enhancing youth-adult communication & understanding
2) Building critical job/career skills to match 21st century needs
3) Increasing cultural awareness and contemporary cultural needs of the Black community
These are all critical components to increasing cultural, social and technical capital within our historically marginalized and underserved community.
