Community Bridge @MME-DEC 2011: YOUTH BOOK RELEASE! DIGITAL ELDERS SPEAK! BLACK DOLL EXHIBIT! BLACK LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT!



The Community Bridge Initiative is designed to bridge resources from higher ed schools, media institutions and local professionals, organizations and change agents from the community, to address social issues, counter the exclusion of cultural education in schools and reeducate the community to embrace its brilliance. 


The 3 ways we accomplish these goals are via our Monthly Lecture Series, Monthly Family Film Night and ongoing Library Development below...

& 31st Annual Black Doll Exhibit!
Meet us at Message Media Ed at 7pm SHARP! We will walk next door to the William Grant Still Arts Center to tour their 31st Annual Black Doll Exhibit, "The Politics of Imagery". The 2nd half of the evening will include screenings and discussions of the issues addressed in video podcasts produced by Digital Elder Graduates at Message Media Ed! A great way to kick off the holidays!
